New Website – New Look

May 18th, 2010

Containerlift are proud to announce the launch of their new website

incorporating the company’s new corporate image and logo. The publishing of the new website coincides with Containerlift launching vehicles in the new company livery.

Containerlift’s original logo has served it well for over 12 years but it was starting to look a little dated. Although the company’s core business remains providing a service of delivering shipping containers on to the ground, the company now offers so much more. In affect Containerlift needed to present itself to the marketplace with something that better represented all of what it does. Containerlift’s catch phrase of ‘Do it on the Ground’ does not cover it all, ‘Container Movement Solutions’ does.

Similarly the website did not effectively reflect the business Containerlift is now. ‘The internet has steadily become our most important source of new enquiries and a revamp of our online presence has been well overdue.’ explains Joost Baker, Containelift’s Managing Director. ‘Our old website was good but it had originally been constructed simply as a platform for publishing promotional material online. Over a period of time we had bolted on an increasing amount of functionality with the result being a comprehensive, but rather unstructured website. Important information and facilities were well hidden and the website did not perform particularly well with the search engines. The new site should perform better on all fronts.’

Containerlift’s website has had a complete face lift and is greatly slimmed down focusing on the key areas of business; transport, handling and shipping of shipping containers. The new website includes a number of easy to find features including:

-       Customer login to track the progress of their job, download electronic PODs, quotes and invoices.

-       Facility for customers to make secure online credit card payment for jobs.

-       Subcontactor facility for downloading job information, uploading scanned PODs and updating the progress of jobs.

-       A variety of forms easily downloadable including credit account application forms, jobs booking forms and Containerlift’s terms and conditions.

-       Online videos detailing how Containerlift’s fleet of sidelifter vehicles operate.
