Lest We Forget
Today marks the 2-year anniversary of Soldier, Lee Rigby’s tragic death.
Drummer and machine-gunner of the second Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers was brutally murdered while off duty and walking near the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich.
The memory of the murdered solider has been honoured this year by Eddie Stobart who are one of the UK’s largest haulage businesses. The Fusilier’s father Philip McClure, who works as a driver with the company, officially named the H4100 truck at a ceremony. The “Lee James Rigby” is only the second Eddie Stobart truck named after a man.
What a fantastic gesture by our friends at Eddie Stobart who are big supporters of the Help for Heroes charity.
