GOLD for Containerlift!

Containerlift have reached yet another safety milestone by achieving Gold, the highest standard in the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme.

The Freight Operator Recognition Scheme is a voluntary accreditation programme open to companies operating commercial vehicles. It is one over-arching scheme that encompasses all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, economical operations and vehicle emissions. Road hauliers subscribing to the scheme demonstrate a commitment to safety and compliance. The Gold certification places the highest demand in terms of staff training and development at all levels within the company through to deploying the latest in safety technology.

Joost Baker, Containerlift’s Managing Director explains, “The Freight Operator Recognition Scheme was originally implemented by Transport for London. It has proved so successful in acknowledging hauliers who are committed to exceeding industry best practises that the programme has now been rolled out nationwide. Attaining Gold has required real commitment to safety and efficiency. I am extremely proud that Containerlift is one of only a handful of hauliers who have managed to achieve Gold. This award helps bring peace of mind to everyone we work with that we are serious about safety and the environment!”
